2011 Verano en San Andrés Durante cada verano la Iglesia de San Andrés desarrolla un programa para los niños, jóvenes y familia con el fin de compartir y disfrutar del verano en nuestro jardín. Cada martes a las 6 pm tenemos tiempo para pintar, clases de guitarra, artes manuales, juegos, merienda y siempre concluimos con un tiempo de oración.
También, para recaudar fondos, los domingos vendemos comidas que preparan familias de la Iglesia y los sábados tenemos mercado de las pulgas/flea market
El primer sábado de agosto tuvimos un Paseo a Rockland Lake South invitamos a los miembros de la congregación, familiares y amistades. Durante un día compartimos comidas, piscina y juegos. Este año tuvimos la primera Copa de Futbol de San Andrés.
Al final del verano montamos una exposición con los trabajos y fotos de todos los eventos realizados.
Summer at Saint Andrew's
Every summer at Saint Andrew's Church we develop a program for children, youngsters and families, for sharing and enjoying the summer weather in our church garden. Every Tuesday at 6 p.m., we have activities for all, such as painting, guitar classes, arts and crafts, games and snacks. We always conclude the day with prayers.
To raise funds for the church, every Sunday we sell food prepared by the families of the church. On Saturdays we have a community flea market.
On Saturday, August 1, 2011, we organized a trip to Rockland Lake South. The members of the congregation invited their extended family members and friends to this special summer event. We shared food and games and enjoyed the park swimming pool.
This summer, 2011, we also had our first Annual Saint Andrew's Soccer Tournament.
At the end of the summer we created an exhibit with a collage of photos and crafts showing all of the project work and activities we had throughout the season.
